Old News - Province of Butugychag Becomes A Dependency

On May 17, 2020, The Province of Butugychag status changed from Overseas Province to Dependency, becoming the Tsardom of Butugychag.

Butugychag was established in May 17, 2017 as an Overseas Province of the Great Lawl Reich. However, some time in November of 2019 the Tsar felt that Butugychag status within the Great Lawl Reich was not appropriate due to its remote location.

The Tsar though of either having it either merge with the Great Lawl Reich Southern Pacific Territory and forming a Dependency from it or to just dissolve it. He decided to make Butugychag a Dependency by itself. On May 17, 2020, the Province of Butugychag was made into the Tsardom of Butugychag as a Dependency of the Great Lawl Reich. Another change is that the position of Governor of Butugychag was changed to the Governor General of Butugychag.

Although Butugychag is now a Dependency, it is possible to see it dissolve in the future if the Tsar no longer feels that Butugychag should remain apart of the Great Lawl Reich.
