South Yeno Joins The Great Lawl Reich And Elections In The Micronational Assembly

Recently, elections were held in the Micronational Assembly for Council Member and Chairman. Along with that, The Great Lawl Reich gains a new territory.

On July 30, 2020, elections for the position of Council Member of the Micronational Assembly were held. Eight candidates ran for Council Member. Delegates in the Micronational Assembly were allowed to vote for up to five candidates. The election ended at around 1:30pm (EST) that same day, and the results of the election were:

Tsar Stefan I of the Great Lawl Reich - 20 votes (91%) - Elected
President Jacob of Natlin - 19 votes (86%) - Elected
Commander Hunt of Faltree - 17 votes (77%) - Elected
President Isaac of Tueoedeth - 14 votes (64%) - Elected
Kingdom of Pacifica - 13 votes (59%) - Elected
Emperor Anthony I of Saspearian - 9 votes (46%)
King Asher I of Herzetia - 6 votes (27%)
Wuzstira - 2 votes (9%)

The top five most voted candidates were elected to the position of Council Member. Both Tsar Stefan I and President Jacob were reelected while King Asher I lost his position. The recently elected Council Members then went and vote for one of the Council Members to be elected Chairman of the Micronational Assembly. Commander Hunt of Faltree received 3 votes from the five Council Members becoming the ninth Chairman of the Micronational Assembly. The results of the elections will come into effect on August 1, 2020 at 12:00am (EST).

On July 31, 2020, The Great Lawl Reich and the Kingdom of Herzetia made a treaty transferring sovereignty of the South Yeno Territory from Herzetia to the Great Lawl Reich. South Yeno is located in Rhode Island, south of New Slin, formerly called North Yeno.

South Yeno was a Territory of Herzetia from December 15, 2019 when it was given to Herzetia from the United Ocean States. King Asher I announced that he might dissolve Herzetia on Herzetia's Discord server. Tsar Stefan I asked if the Great Lawl Reich could have South Yeno, to which King Asher I agreed. The Treaty of South Yeno was signed by both Monarchs, transferring sovereignty of South Yeno to the Great Lawl Reich.

South Yeno currently has two citizens, increasing the population of the Great Lawl Reich to five. As of now, South Yeno has no Government set up, having it directly ruled by the Crown. The anthem of South Yeno is the Hohenfriedberger Marsch, making South Yeno the only territory in the Great Lawl Reich with an anthem as of now.
