Tenth Anniversary of the Great Lawl Reich

Today marks the tenth anniversary of the independence of the Great Lawl Reich. This is rather impressive considering that many micronations do not last this long. Like the previous year, 2023 was not an eventful year for the Great Lawl Reich. Activity remained low and is expected to remain as such.

Ninth Anniversary of the Great Lawl Reich

Today marks the ninth anniversary of the independence of the Great Lawl Reich. 2022 was an uneventful year for the Great Lawl Reich with the only event to occur was the occupation of the Sumac Krai. The annexation of the Sumac Krai is planned to happen some time soon. For this anniversary, here are some facts about the Great Lawl Reich that have not been published:

• The Tsar developed interest in micronationalism some time in 2012-2013 after watching a documentary series called How to Start Your Own Country by Danny Wallace.
• A early flag for the Tsar's proto-micronation was made but what it looked like has been lost. The design of the flag was consisted of with four different coloured rectangles in each quadrant with a white square tilted 45 degrees in the middle of the flag and with a blue star in the white square.
• The name of the Great Lawl Reich was first used when the Tsar wrote "Join the Lawl Reich" on the wall of a part of his school with snow on February 17, 2014.
  
• A classmate of the Tsar claimed to be the leader of the Great Lawl Reich. The date of when this happened is lost as it was never recorded. The dispute took place some time between March and April of 2014 and ended at the end of June.
  

Occupation of the former Sumac Krai Proclaimed

Today, on September 5, 2022, the Great Lawl Reich officially proclaims the Occupied Territory of the Sumac Krai following the informal proclamation on September 2, 2022 during the Sumac Expedition. The Occupied Territory is located in Ontario, Canada.

The Sumac Krai was formerly apart of the Slinky Empyre as the Sumac Department from July 17, 2010 to January 15, 2011. The Sumac Department, along with other Departments, seceded from the Empyre to form the Slinky Republyc on January 15, 2011. The Republyc lasted until February 26, 2011 where it dissolved. Following the dissolution of the Slinky Republyc, the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun annexed the Sumac Department on March 8, 2011 and established the Sumac Krai. Gishabrun joined the Free State of Renasia on July 22, 2012 and left on May 5, 2015 when Renasia dissolved. Following the secession from Renasia, Gishabrun relinquished all of its territories and became a non-territorial cultural entity.

On September 2, 2022, Tsar Stefan I led the Sumac Expedition in order to occupy the former Sumac Krai and potentially establish territory in Canada. The expedition began on 10:10 AM (EST) when Tsar Stefan I left home. Before 12:00 PM, Tsar Stefan I successfully traveled to the former Sumac Krai. Tsar Stefan I informally proclaimed the occupation of the Sumac Krai. Tsar Stefan I soon left and returned home at 2:08 PM, thus ending the expedition.

On September 5, 2022, the Occupied Territory of the Sumac Krai was officially proclaimed as an Occupied Territory of the Great Lawl Reich. The Tsar appointed Himself to be the Imperial Governor of the Occupied Territory of the Sumac Krai. The languages used by the Occupied Territory of the Sumac Krai is English and Classical Slin-Engysh. The Occupied Territory of the Sumac Krai was not annexed immediately as Tsar Stefan I has not fully decided what to do with the Occupied Territory. The most likely plan is to establish a Sumac Crown Dependency from the occupation. Another plan is to reestablish the Kyngdom of New Slin. The Tsar thought of having the Occupied Territory of the Sumac Krai of joining the Second Empyre of Slin due to its history with the Slinky Empyre but deemed the plan to be the least likely of happening due to Slin being inactive. Time will tell what the fate of the former Sumac Krai will be.

Eighth Anniversary of the Great Lawl Reich

Today marks the eighth anniversary of the independence of the Great Lawl Reich. 2021 was somewhat of an eventful year for the Great Lawl Reich, but activity within the Great Lawl Reich have decreased due to the Tsar being busy, as well as losing interest. However, there are plans to increase activity somewhat by reorganizing the Reich.

End of the Greater Aleunnic War

Yesterday, on June 23, 2021, marked the end of the of the Greater Aleunnic War where the Rhode Island possessions of the Great Lawl Reich were seceded to the Reunited Ocean States and the Aleunnic Workers' Republic.

The Greater Aleunnic War began when the Reunited Ocean States declared war on the Great Lawl Reich in order to reclaim Yeno on January 31, 2021. On the same day, the Aleunnic Workers' Republic and Tueoedeth declared war on the Great Lawl Reich. On February 2, Faltree declared war on the Great Lawl Reich.

Military conflicts began on March 28, where the Reunited Ocean States invaded and occupied the Tzardom of Yeno under the name of Operation Slin. Ausveria would then declare war on the Great Lawl Reich on April 22. On May 1, the Aleunnic Workers' Republic launched the May Day Offensive where the Aleunnic Czardom and the Csardom of Aquariana were invaded and occupied.

Other nations were involved in the war, such as the Latalle Monarchy and the Federal States of Delphia. The 2nd Ocean States-Latalle War occurred from April 14 to April 24 where the Latalle Monarchy attempted to secede from the Reunited Ocean States but ultimately surrendered. The Reunited Ocean States declared war on Delphia on May 3 due to Delphia refusing to return Fort Inter, a territory given to Delphia by the United Ocean States, back to the Reunited Ocean States. The Reunited Ocean States invaded and occupied Fort Inter on May 10.

The war ended with the Reunited Ocean States on June 5 where the Great Lawl Reich and Delphia returned the territories that was gifted to them by the United Ocean States back to the Reunited Ocean States. Then on June 23, the Great Lawl Reich signed a peace treaty with Faltree, the Aleunnic Workers' Republic, Tueoedeth, and Ausveria where the Aleunnic Czardom and the Aleunnic-Aquarian Condominium were seceded to the Aleunnic Workers' Republic, thus marking the end to the Great Aleunnic War.

Seventh Anniversary of the Great Lawl Reich

Today marks the seventh anniversary of the independence of the Great Lawl Reich. There has been recent developments in the Great Lawl Reich.

On January 30, 2020, elections for the position of Council Member of the Micronational Assembly were held. Nine candidates ran for Council Member. Delegates in the Micronational Assembly were allowed to vote for up to five candidates. The election ended at around 6:00 PM (EST) on January 31, 2020 , and the results of the election were:

President Edward of Delphia - 8 votes (50%) - Elected
President Isaac of Tueoedeth - 4 votes (25%) - Later disqualified due to kicking people from the MA Discord server

The top five most voted candidates were elected to the position of Council Member. Both Tsar Stefan I and Emperor Anthony I were reelected. The recently elected Council Members then went and vote for one of the Council Members to be elected Chairman of the Micronational Assembly. The results of the Chairman election were:

Tsar Stefan I of the Great Lawl Reich was reelected as Chairman after receiving majority of the votes.
The results of the elections went into effect on February 1, 2021 at 12:00am (EST).

On January 31, 2021, the Reunited Ocean States declared war on the Great Lawl Reich. The reason they cite is the concern of the expansion of the Great Lawl Reich in Rhode Island. The Aleunnic Workers' Republic and Tueoedeth would declare war on the Great Lawl Reich the same day for different reasons. On February 2, 2021, Faltree declared war on the Great Lawl Reich. Currently, nothing major occurred due to poor weather.

2020 Christmas Report

Today marks the sixth Christmas the Great Lawl Reich has celebrated. The Tsar of the Great Lawl Reich wishes every a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

This Christmas Report will report the events from the Great Lawl Reich and the Micronational Assembly that had not been reported yet.

News from the Great Lawl Reich:

On September 30th, 2020, the Great Lawl Reich held its third elections for Prime Minister. Tsar Stefan I was the only candidate for Prime Minister, which he ran as Independent. Only the Tsar himself voted and won the election, gaining two votes.

The Great Lawl Reich made new expansions in Rhode Island, gaining a Protectorate and a Dependency.

The Protectorate the Great Lawl Reich gained is called the Csardom of Aquariana. The Csardom of Aquariana was established on December 7th, 2019 in Rhode Island as the Queendom of Aquariana by Queen Gia I when she joined the Micronational Assembly. Jaime III, then known as Kevin II, President of the United Ocean States, served as Prime Minister of Aquariana from February 20th, 2020 to April 5th, 2020. Tsar Stefan I became a citizen on February 20th, 2020. The Tsar offered Aquariana to become a Protectorate of the Great Lawl Reich, to which the Queen of Aquariana unofficially agreed to on March 17th. Aquariana soon became inactive and left the Micronational Assembly on June 12th, 2020. On September 2nd, 2020, Queen Gia I dissolved the Queendom of Aquariana. Despite dissolving Aquariana, the Great Lawl Reich refused to recognize the dissolution, citing the lack of an announcement of dissolution and that the Great Lawl Reich never gave approval. Tsar Stefan I unofficially used the title of Regent of Aquariana  from September 2nd, 2020 to December 7th, 2020. On December 7th 2020, the first anniversary of Aquarian Independence, Tsar Stefan I officially dissolved the Queendom of Aquariana and replacing it with the Csardom of Aquariana, with himself as Csar. Tsar Stefan I relinquished all territories that the Queendom of Aquariana had, temporary turning Aquariana territory-less, as well of revoking Queen Gia I's citizenship. The Csardom of Aquariana was made into an official Protectorate of the Great Lawl Reich. The Monarch of Aquariana was granted the rank of Caesar. The Csardom of Aquariana would be territory-less until December 20th, where it was granted joint-sovereignty with the Aleunnic Czardom over the Aleunnic-Aquarian Condominium.

The Dependency the Great Lawl Reich gained is called the Aleunnic Czardom. The Aleunnic Empire was established (presumably) on September 16th, 2020 in Rhode Island by King Saxen I. The name Aleunnic was inspired from Roman-era Germanic tribes, possibly deriving from the Alemanni and Hunnic tribes. The Aleunnic Empire declared war on the nations of the Tungsten Pact, which one of the allies of the Great Lawl Reich, Natlin, was apart of, thus placing the Great Lawl Reich in a de-facto war with the the Aleunnic Empire. Despite declaring war on an ally, the Great Lawl Reich never declared war on the Aleunnic Empire. On October 27th, 2020, Wohlstand Vereinigung, led by Hunt P., invaded and occupied the Aleunnic Empire. The Aleunnic Empire surrendered and dissolved on the following day. On November 18th, 2020, the Aleunnic Empire was partitioned by Wohlstand Vereinigung, the Great Lawl Reich, the Reunited Ocean States, and the Empire of Kapreburg. On December 20th, 2020, the Aleunnic Czardom was established as a Dependency of the Great Lawl Reich and the successor state of the Aleunnic Empire, with Tsar Stefan I as its Czar. The territory of the Aleunnic Czardom consists of the land the Great Lawl Reich annexed from the partition. Tsar Stefan I granted the right for the Aleunnic Czardom to reincorporate the territories of the other partitioned lands if they dissolve. The Aleunnic Czardom also granted the Csardom of Aquariana a Condominium, called the Aleunnic-Aquarian Condominium. The Aleunnic Czardom and the Csardom of Aquarianahold joint-sovereignty over the Aleunnic-Aquarian Condominium, with the former being able to dissolve and reincorporate the Condominium at any time. With the establishment of the Aleunnic Czardom, the Tsar of the Great Lawl Reich uses all four spellings of Tsar for his titles, potentially being the first Micronationalist to do so.

News from the Micronational Assembly:

On September 21st, 2020, Tsar Stefan I was removed as Councilman due to decreasing activity. Although The Tsar was becoming less active, he believed that he should have resigned rather than being removed. After his removal, elections were held for Councilman on the September 24th, 2020. The results were:

Regent Connor of the Kingdom of Jehovah - 6 votes

Emperor Anthony I of Saspearian - 4 votes

Pexto Anglacia - 3 votes

Espère - 3 votes

Robert B. Williams IV of Williamsburg - 3 votes

 

Regent Connor of the Kingdom of Jehovah was elected as the new Councilman on September 25th.

On November 13th, 2020, King Randy I of Pacifica resigned as Councilman and withdrew from Micronationalism. Elections for Councilman was held on the same day, and Robert B. Williams IV was elected Councilman on the following day. On November 19th, 2020, both the Councilmen for the Kingdom of Jehovah and Natlin resigned due to their Micronations uniting with Faltree into the Federal Republic of Vulhalin. Elections for Councilmen were held the same day as their resignations. The results were:

Both Emperor Anthony I and Tsar Stefan I were elected as the new Councilmen on November 20th.

On November 28th, 2020, Chairman Hunt P. of Faltree removed Emperor Anthony I as Councilman and replaced him with Caliph Asher of Herzetia. This move angered the Delegates of the Micronational Assembly, calling the move undemocratic and called for Hunt P.'s removal as Chairman. Hunt P. resigned as Chairman and Councilman and deleted the Micronational Assembly Discord server as a parting gift. Emperor Anthony I then recreated the Micronational Assembly Discord server. Tsar Stefan I took this opportunity to have himself elected Chairman of the Micronational Assembly, with approval of the other Councilmen. He received the votes from all the Councilmen to become Chairman. On the same day, both Robert B. Williams IV and Caliph Asher resigned as Councilmen. Tsar Stefan I decided to reinstate Emperor Anthony I and appointed King Jackson I as Councilman. Soon, King Jackson I resigned on the same day, becoming the shortest serving Councilman the Micronational Assembly ever had. Elections were held on the same day. The results from the elections:

Robert B. Williams IV was elected as the new Councilman on November 30th. 

 

On November 29th, 2020, The Grand Republic of Cycoldia denounced the Micronational Assembly, which the news of the denouncement reached the Micronational Assembly on the following day. In the denouncement, it states:

• The Micronational Assembly discriminates against those whom they disagree with (never stated which of the member states that conducted such inappropriate behaviour, other than Ausveria).
• Cycoldia shall cease all relations with Micronations that are part of the Micronational Assembly, as well of Micronations that have members of their government that hold duel citizenship with Member States.

When the news of the denouncement was received, some of the Member States did not like it. Regent Connor consider the move to be "ignorant" as Cycoldia is punishing the whole Assembly for the actions of a few. Prince Matthew stated that it was "bit rude for a denouncement without evening knowing us".

 

The Chairman, along with the Current Council, had made a few points on the denouncement:

• When the denouncement was made, it was already dated, considering that the Members (presumably) accused, Natlin and Faltree, left, with Faltree leaving the same day Hunt P. resigned.
• Although the previous Chairman had expelled people for certain beliefs, the Micronational Assembly is now more open.
• Ausveria became less active, and did not repeat the same thing they were accused of.
• The previous Chairman did not care about the Micronational Assembly and damaged its image without care.
• Faltree had established an oligarchy under his Chairmanship, turning the Council into his personal dictatorship.
  
• The Council have denounced the inappropriate actions of the previous Chairman and Member States, and hereby apologize.
  
• The diplomatic sanctions against the Micronational Assembly is extreme, as it is punishing the whole Assembly for the actions of a few.

The Council of the Micronational Assembly would like for Cycoldia to accept our apology and to repeal the denouncement of the Micronational Assembly.
